It isn't until Mauricio is almost out of sight on the water that his windsurfing rig completely collapses! Alone, freezing and exhausted, the marooned windsurfer drifts in the ocean more than an hour. When help finally arrives, soggy Mauricio is nearly too weak to pull himself out of the water!
