English is the major language of books, magazines, newspapers, railways, airports, International business and academic conferences, science, technology, diplomacy, sport, international competitions, pop music and advertising. Even in India, most of sign boards in front of shops is in English. The road signs are in English.
The electronically stored information in world is 86% in English language. Majority of medicines manufactured in India wear the label in English.
