Notes: Baltimore is 1-0 in the preseason with the 22-19 home victory to the Carolina Panthers as a +1 point wagering underdog. The total finished at over 36 ½ points. The Ravens fell behind 10-0 after one quarter. Offensively the Panthers finished with 288 yards with 173 coming from the passing game. Joe Flacco did not play so backup Ryan Mallett hit on 11 of 15 passes for 91 yards with a touchdown and pick. Terrance West rushed for 25 yards on nine carries and two touchdowns. Baltimore held Carolina to 1 of 6 inside the red zone along with 282 yards of offense.

Indianapolis is 1-0 in the preseason following the 19-18 road victory to the Buffalo Bills as a +2 ½ point betting underdog. The total went over 36 points. The Colts gave up a late touchdown and successful defended the two point conversion to hold on for the win. The team had a difficult time running the football with 30 yards rushing on 23 carries. Scott Tolzien saw extended work as Andrew Luck did not play. Tolzien finished 12 of 23 for 140 yards and a touchdown. The Colts defense did allow 370 yards to the Buffalo offense with 246 yards passing.
