Paul McCartney signs new deal with Capitol Records
  • 8 years ago
Paul McCartney signed to Capitol Records, the label announced Wednesday.
The new contract encompasses the iconic singer’s entire body of post-Beatles work, from his 1970 solo debut McCartney, through his decade with Wings and dozens of collaborative efforts, to his last entry, 2013’s New.
This is genuinely exciting for me.
Not only was Capitol my first U.S. record label, but the first record I ever bought was Gene Vincent’s ‘Be-Bop-A-Lula’ on the Capitol label.
He’s currently working on his 17th studio solo album.
