Lightning was spotted in the skies above New York on August 13, where a severe thunderstorm watch was issued for eleven of the state’s counties.
A drone flew above Kirkville, showing storm clouds and lightning strikes to the south of central New York.
Elsewhere in the state, a lightning strike in Poughkeepsie’s Mansion Square Park killed a 50-year-old man and injured at least four others, according to ABC News reports. Credit: YouTube/Craig Barber
