Heartwarming footage has emerged from China of firefighters rescuing a pregnant buffalo trapped in a well.
The video, captured in Hechi, Guangxi Province last Monday, shows the rescuers using power tools to drill a new hole to squeeze the distressed animal out of its predicament.
According to reports, the cable well acted like an animal trap because it had no cover and it was covered by overgrown grass.
It took five hours for the firefighters to get the buffalo out of the hole and she was reportedly safe and well.
