MIT technology review, human animal chimeras (human dog or human cat hybrids) are gestating in research facilities across the world. According to researchers they are growing human tissue in cows and pigs. Researchers say they are doing this to harvest stem cells, but new investigations show these creatures are possibly kept alive, with some being sold on as pets.
