Chiefs GM expects Eric Berry to return before week 1

Kansas City Chief's Pro Bowler Eric Berry hasn't reported to training camp since he and the team failed to agree on a long-term contract. Berry will have to play under the $10.8 million franchise tag for one season if and when he returns to the team. But Chiefs GM John Dorsey isn't fretting a lengthy standoff. "(Berry's) agent has said ... at some juncture during this course he will show up here," Dorsey said, per ESPN.
