On Friday, Arthur Thomas not only attended her wedding, but walked her down the aisle, reports KDKA.
Bride Jeni Stepien lost her father to murder 10 years ago.
Over the years, the family has kept in touch with Thomas, the recipient of the man’s heart, notes the Huffington Post.
When Stepien was preparing for her nuptials, she reached out to him and asked that he give her away.
According to KDKA, Thomas gladly obliged, and made a trek from New Jersey to Swissvale, Pennsylvania to do the honor.
Said the bride, “I was just so thankful that my dad could be here with us today in spirit and a piece of his physical being as well."
