Smoke Trail Motorcycle Tour, Episode 3: Finding the Blues in New Orleans

In Episode 1 of our “Smoke Trail Tour” we explored Memphis, watched great blues, and ate some fine meals, then launched south in Episode 2 where we explored the Mississippi Delta. We were finally nearing the end of our tour but now it was time to hit the road and ride into the heart of Blues Country.
After pointing our pair of Indians—an Indian Springfield and an Indian Chief Vintage—south and into the heart of the Mississippi Delta, we cruised into New Orleans where the Mississippi River ends. The chaos of riding in and around the French Quarter was highly entertaining but we were relieved to park the bikes on our arrival night and have a great meal in one of the finest eating cities on earth. Music, food, and craziness were everywhere, but then, as if the Blues Gods were smiling down on us, we had the musical encounter that perfectly capped off our tour along the Blues Highway.
