Dr. Ben Carson said Wednesday on CNN that Donald Trump and Khizr Khan should apologize to one another to resolve their feud over the past week.
“I don’t think it would be harmful if they apologized to him and he apologized to them, but I don’t see that happening,” Carson said.
When asked why he believes Trump deserves an apology, Carson pointed out the allegations Khizr Khan made during and after his DNC speech.
“If you accuse someone of something that’s not true, it usually is a reasonable thing to acknowledge that,” he replied.
