HALIFAX, VIRGINIA — Video has surfaced showing police pranking local drivers by pulling them over and offering up ice cream cones.
In footage uploaded to YouTube, two officers from the Halifax Police Department were filmed pulling over a woman and her male passenger. When asked if she know why she was pulled over, the woman replied, “no.” That’s when the officer cited her for violating “Vehicle Code 1739,” which he described as “it being against the law to drive on a hot day without an ice cream cone.”
Immediately, the woman begins laughing as the officer handed her and her passenger chocolate ice cream-covered cones.
