The Reds are likely to offload more players before the Premier League season begins but the German is increasingly confident with the state of his squad.
Jurgen Klopp has expressed his excitement at the "special quality" he believes is now in the Liverpool dressing room as the return of the Premier League draws near.
The Reds take on AC Milan in Santa Clara on Sunday in their second International Champions Cup fixture, with their opener at the tournament ending in a 1-0 defeat to Chelsea.
After games against Roma and Barcelona followed by a non-ICC meeting with Mainz, Klopp's team resume domestic action with a crunch clash at Arsenal.
And while Liverpool are likely to further trim a large squad between now and the end of the transfer window, the German is increasingly confident when it comes to the options at his disposal.
"This is my squad now, and after all the transfers, this time it is my team," he told reporters in California. "There are probably no players here anymore that I don't want. There are no signings I didn't want, we have not sold anyone I didn't want to [sell].
"And if you have seen them in training, there is a special quality that we did not have last year - above all, you can see we have created a special atmosphere.
"Not only in our team but with our fans. Sometimes in this world things are more apart than before. But if you bring all this together? England is a very romantic country. Tradition is very important.
"And it is tradition to come together with the supporters when they are lost. I really like this. It can be really important for us."
Klopp is likely to field a mix of first-team regulars and younger players, as he did against Chelsea, with Jordan Henderson, James Milner and Simon Mignolet in line for their first starts of pre-season.

Milan got one over their former coach Carlo Ancelotti by beating Bayern Munich on penalties in their first ICC contest after a 3-3 draw.
They have tasked ex-Fiorentina and Sampdoria coach Vincenzo Montella with restoring their fortunes after another disappointing season ended in a seventh-place finish in Serie A.
Montella hopes to guide the Rossoneri back into the Champions League with an exciting, attractive style of play and was pleased with the attacking fluidity of his team against Bayern.
"It was a well-played game, and I'm very happy because we troubled Bayern," he said. "This is a small foundation to carry on our work with even greater conviction.
"It was an excellent game, when taken in relation to the quality of our opponents. What I liked the most was the sacrifice shown by the team.
"You can tell that the team wants to develop and work hard. This is a group that is getting ready to build something. Our objective is to produce pleasing football and that's contingent on keeping control over the game.
