Heres a virtual movie of the legendary Huddie Leadbetter "Leadbelly" giving us his performance of two prison/slave type chants "Aint going down that well no more" and Go down old Hannah" the second chant is steeped in a desire to escape captivity through sleep or by running away underr cloak of darkness for "Old Hannah" refers to the sun.
