Will Colorado Marijuana Be Labeled Certified Organic?

On Friday, a Colorado State House Committee will begin debating organic labels for marijuana. Colorado would become the first state to regulate organic labeling. Other organic standards are regulated federally, by the FDA, but since pot is illegal there's no way for consumers to really tell if a product is truly organic. California also plans to set organic labeling regulations by 2020 and other states are likely to follow suit.
