Incredible time-lapse footage of the Sand Fire currently raging in the Santa Clarita Valley mountains north of LA, California, USA.
The video, shot from the filmer's back yard on July 22, shows the fire burning in the distance with smoke rising into the air.
The blaze has already burned nearly 40,000 acres of land and 3,000 firefighters are currently working to get it fully under control.
According to local reports, the blaze forced 10,000 people to evacuate their homes but by Monday most had returned.
