Michelle Obama was the star. The first lady gave an unforgettable anti-Trump speech showing a heartfelt endorsement of Hillary Clinton. "Every election is about who will have the power to shape our children for the next four or eight years" she said. Bernie Sanders has no control over his followers. Bernie got booed by his supporters when he told them that they needed to support Clinton to stop Donald Trump Massachusetts Senator, Elizabeth Warren, showed there is future for the Democratic Party.  She attacked Trump and described Hillary as "one of the smartest, toughest, most tenacious people on the planet" Although Donald Trump was the target of attacks from a number of speakers, like Warren, he had a supporting role at the first day of the DNC
