Bad Grammar In Trump's Tweet Sparks Twitter Storm

A recent Donald Trump's tweet was swiftly criticized for bad grammar.

Donald Trump is an active Twitter user. Considering he even announced his vice-presidential pick with a tweet, it's evident Twitter is an important tool for him to reach his audience.

While most of his posts spark all kinds of reactions from both sides, a recent one drew strong criticism in particular for improper grammar and spelling, reports Mashable.

Trump tweeted - "Looks to me like the Bernie people will fight. If not, there blood, sweat and tears was a total waist of time. Kaine stands for opposite!"

Reactions focused on spelling 'waste' as 'waist' and 'their' as 'there.' Responses were swift and not so subtle.

Film director Joe Carnahan posted, "Look at this f****** idiot! He doesn't even possess basic spelling and grammar skills. HE'S a 'Statesman'!? Wow."

Another said, "your tweet is the biggest 'waist' of time."

Others tried to come up with reasons for bad grammar with one suggesting, "he was probably in a hurry b/c he has other things to do besides tweet...things like making America great again."
