In the 88th verse of the Surah an-Nisa, God talks about those who assist the hypocrites

ADNAN OKTAR: In the 88th verse of the Surah an-Nisa, Almighty God says, "How is it that you have become two parties regarding the hypocrites?" In other words, a group who wants to assist the hypocrites emerges. What they do was contemptible, isn't it? They aspire after the hypocrites and want to be like them. Thus they become henchmen to the hypocrites, which is quite despicable. The hypocrites are snobs, and such weak-minded people always try to ingratiate themselves with snobs. You might have witnessed it in schools. Cocky, snobbish types always attract a great deal of attention. And some guileless young girls or boys try to curry favor with these types, and want to be noticed by them. This makes them even more arrogant and snobbish. The hypocrites are the masters of the foul arts of arrogance and snobbery. In other words, their snobbery and arrogance has no bounds. Thus, hypocrites can skillfully manipulate the poor henchmen around them and mold someone into a cog in their system in no time. For that reason, weak-minded believers should not be left alone around the hypocrites. If you leave such believers alone with a hypocrite, the hypocrite can easily and quickly influence them through the evil power they possess. This is what Said Nursi refers to by "the antichrist who, through the magnetic and spiritual qualities he possesses, works terrible wonders." All members of the system of antichrist have this ability. All hypocrites have such power to influence others, whom they can easily exercise on simple-minded, weak-willed people to turn them into their henchmen. For example, such people imitate the hypocrites in all their habits such as eating, dressing and speaking. They yearn for the pleasures the hypocrites enjoy. In short, the hypocrites can especially influence the simple-minded, weak-willed people with relative ease.
