Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has made it clear that he is not interested in an endorsement from Senator Ted Cruz.
During a press conference in Cleveland on Friday, he stated plainly, “I don't want his endorsement. If he gives it, I will not accept it, just so you understand….I will not accept it.”
Trump further notes that Cruz will, “...come and endorse over the next little while...because he has no choice, but I don’t want his endorsement….Ted, stay home, relax, enjoy yourself.”
Trump also said, "Honestly, he should have done it, because nobody cares, and he would have been in better shape four years from now — I don't see him winning anyway frankly, but if he did it's fine."
Trump then jokes that he would consider setting up a super PAC to oppose Cruz "if he decides to run."
