Shahid to replace Vicky Kaushal in Padmavati

The buzz around Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming epic drama 'Padmavati' is increasing day-by-day. The film will star his current favourite jodi, Deepika Padukone who plays Rani Padmavati and Ranveer Singh in the role of Alludin Khilji. But what people do not know is that the role of Deepika's husband might be played by Shahid Kapoor in this magnum opus. It was said that Vicky Kaushal was earlier roped in for this role. However, the 'Bajirao Mastani' actress has reportedly put her foot down after the news broke.
