Town founded by refugees welcomes refugees | DW News

The German city of Espelkamp was founded by WWII refugees. Guest workers followed in the 1950s and 1960s. In the early 1990s, Eastern Europeans of German ancestry arrived. Now, the newest residents come from Syria, Afghanistan and Eritrea.
