Scott Speed persevered through a mechanical issue to grab his first victory of the Red Bull Global Rallycross season at Marine Corps Air Station New River. Speed, the defending Supercar champion, sped past Brian Deegan on the final lap of a muddy main event to earn the eighth victory of his Red Bull GRC career.  The inaugural Red Bull GRC event at MCAS New River last July marked the first time that a major motorsports series held a championship event on an active military installation.
