Chris Gayle hits 30 runs in one over - CPL 2016

Chris hit a staggering fifty in the first game of the CPL and now in the second he advances further and got the first hundred of this year’s edition of the CPL. It was a night that belonged to Chris Gayle. Another master class innings from the big Jamaican.

Gayle hit a massive 30 runs over against Benn. He hit 4 sixes in that over and poor Benn was left stranded in the middle thinking where he went wrong.

The first shot was a full toss. Gayle was not expecting it and this was a mere reflex action hit that came no closer to the middle of his bat. Benn thought that straight fielders might have a chance they did not. The ball went over the fence. the power did the thing for Gayle.

The next six was again to a full toss and this time Gayle departed the ball out of the ground. this shot was middle properly and it went on the rooftop of the building and was lost. The new ball was taken in.The next hit was again on the leg side. this time, Benn again threw a really poor ball. Gayle was just standing in and hitting his shots. he was least concerned because he knew the pressure was on the bowler and he would give him balls to hit.
The last six of the over was a really well-managed shot. This was bowled flat and fast and gayle had to pick it up on the leg side again. This hit showed that Gayle was in some really strong from with the bat and he will take on every team.
