Spinning Wheel of Wire and Light Creates a Dancing Ballerina Illusion

Artist Akinori Goto showcased his mesmerizing spinning zoetrope, an animation created by using slices of light on a rotating wire design, during the 2016 Spiral Independent Creators Festival in Tokyo. Goto’s design mimicked the movement of ballerinas, beginning with just one, before the entire wheel was filled with them.
