Shocking footage has emerged from China of police and passersby rescuing a girl trapped under a car after being run over.

The video, filmed in Cangzhou, Hebei Province last Monday, shows the cyclist being run over by a car before getting trapped under it.

A group of people then immediately get out of their cars and run to help lift the vehicle off her.

The 14-year-old girl was then taken to hospital.
