On today's Climbing Daily, we’re taking a look at the news from the world of climbing, as well as checking out a sport climbing sick send.

Last week the 2016 Women's International Climbing Meet took place in the Llanberis Pass, North Wales. Over 80 women from 24 countries descended on the pass, looking to learn how to trad climb, or simply push their grades.

In other news, UK based climber Pete Bridgewood has soloed 600 routes in a day, beating Tom Randall and Pete Whittaker’s record of 550.

To Norway next, where news is coming out of EpicTV athlete Adam Ondra's first ascent of 120 Degrees, a 9a+ in Flatanger. There is currently a host of elite sport climbers at the crag, including Japanese climbers Sachi Amma and Yuji Hirayama. With this kind of talent around, there's sure to be more news coming from Flatanger soon.

Finally, Tom Livingstone and Tony Stone have made the second free ascent of ‘Longhope Route,’ graded E7 6c at St. John’s Head.

Then, we're bringing you a sick send from Urko Nieto at the Baltzola cave in the Basque Country, Spain. The climb is called XL, graded 9a, and is a link up of two classic lines. Check out Urko’s Vimeo page here.
