Construction Of Wall Around Mark Zuckerberg's Hawaii Propery Is Making Neighbors Unhappy

Construction crews are building what appears to be a 6-foot wall on Mark Zuckerberg’s oceanfront Hawaiian land, and the neighbors are less than pleased.

A couple of years ago, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg acquired over 700 acres of oceanfront property in beautiful Kauai, Hawaii.
In recent weeks, construction crews began building what appears to be a 6-foot wall on the massive expanse of land, and the neighbors are less than pleased, reports West Hawaii Today.
One noted the barrier completely blocks the area’s view of the water, something residents have long enjoyed.
Another expressed concern that the lovely breeze coming off of the water will not be able to make it past the obstruction.
The Daily Mail is reporting that in describing the wall, locals have used words including "monstrosity" and "oppressive."
Many have attempted to get in touch with Zuckerberg in hopes of discussing the wall and the impact it may have on the community at large, but their efforts have been unsuccessful.
Said one area resident, “…all he needs to do is take it down…That’s all we’re asking.”
