Nicola Sturgeon has said a second independence referendum is "highly likely" after the UK voted to leave the EU She said it was "democratically unacceptable" that Scotland faced the prospect of being taken out of the EU against its will "I want to make it absolutely clear today that I intend to take all possible steps and explore all options to give effect to how people in Scotland voted.
