After Legalization of Weed, Colorado Teens Found to Smoke Less

Since Colorado legalized marijuana use in 2012, the state has seen a small decrease in the number of teens smoking it according to a report recently released by the Colorado Department of Health. The data is based on The Healthy Kids Colorado Survey which is conducted every two years. Teen use of Marijuana dropped from 22% in 2011 to 21.7 percent in 2015. The country Portugal decriminalized all drug use in 2001 to combat spiraling HIV rates, and now the country boasts one of the lowest drug abuse rates in the EU.
