No Time To Explain - Indie Game Review #SGOGames

The developers at tinyBuild Games sent me a code for a game called No Time to Explain. A 2D side-scrolling game that you can play solo or co-operatively with up to 4 people. So I tried to play about 10 minutes of this game with my sister in order to see what the game is about. 10 minutes shortly turned into 20, then 45, then an hour. We finally decided to take a break after 2 hours of playing to actually give our review of the game. With 2 people the fun we had was enormous and the insanity and chaos of the game was immense. I can only imagine with 4 people…

“So is the game worth $15?” It honestly all depends on the whether or not you want to play with others. If you like a game with a good story and great fun even when playing by yourself, I’d say save the $15 for another game. Although if you have the money to spend and want to have lots of laughs and frustration with your friends or family. Go for it! You’ll have a blast (pun intended). Now if you want the general story of the game, I would tell you but, there’s NO TIME TO EXPLAIN! For the replayability you’ll mainly want to go back to find the hats scattered throughout each level. They can be funny or even really cool. This hat-hunting is especially fun for achievement hunters like myself so finding all of them felt very rewarding. Otherwise there is no additional reason to replay the game, one difficulty, no additional story choices, etc.
