Karan Johar’s ambitious project Shuddhi has been talked about primarily for its star cast. Varun Dhawan replaced Salman Khan and much chaos was created among the fans. Now Varun has cleared the air. In an interview he said, “I have not replaced him in the film. Bhai had certain date issues because of which he and Karan collectively decided that I should be a part of Shuddhi. No one can replace Salman Khan. Now that I am doing this film, I have to make him proud first.” It is also said Salman recommended his name for the role. Since Salman has put so much confidence on this actor, he obviously needs to live up to it.
