Astronaut Jeff Williams recently shared an image of what a full moon looks like when viewed from the International Space Station.

Full moons are mesmerizing sights and have inspired great works of literature, music, and visual arts.
Yet, the view here from Earth pales in comparison to the one that can be seen from space.
NASA Astronaut Jeff Williams recently shared an image of what a full moon looks like when viewed from the International Space Station.
The satellite, which glows high above the evening sky, was photographed as the station flew over western China on June 21.
Williams posted the dazzling picture on Twitter, along with the caption, “A spectacular rise of the full moon just before sunset…”
Spectacular, indeed.
