Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan celebrated her birthday on August 1 at her Pali Hill apartment. However, according to a report, the Khar police busted the party following complaints of loud music from the neighbours. Several Bollywood celebrities were in attendance at the party when officers at Khar police station received an alert from the Mumbai police control room around 2:30 am after residents complained about the loud music, the report stated. Further to the report, a police team went to Arpita's apartment and ordered her to turn off the music. An officer was quoted in the report as saying that the organiser of the party, who brought the music system, was told to pay a fine of Rs 12000 and the music system was seized.
