Udta Punjab Opening Day Collection - 10.5 Crores

Udta Punjab got a thunderous opening on its first day itself with 10.5 crores. Intrestingly it's the fifth movie to have got the highest opening this year. Trade analyst say its doing well especially in Punjab and delhi, now isn't that shocking? That means people of Punjab don't mind getting a reality check about the issues that their state has been facing. Udta punjab makers got into a turmoil with the Censor board over censorship issues and to add more many scenes got leaked online and must say it managed to stand out. The film stars Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh. Director Abhishek Chaubey and makers of Udta Punjab have definately struck the right chord amongst the audiences leaving behind a chilling impression about the drug menace that the state of punjab has been realing since long. One can't deny that this film would continue to collect more at the box-office.
