Tex and his saddle pal, Duke (Al St. John) come to the aid of a freight wagon train under attack by desperadoes, headed by Kalmus (Karl Hackett) and Red Holman (Charles). They save pretty Madge Summers (Louise Stanley), but the men and freight wagons are lost. The drifting cowboys stay on to help Madge fulfill her father's freight franchise, despite the efforts of the desperadoes.
