Delivery people and dogs sometimes have a strained relationship, but a UPS driver put that aside and saved a puppy who had been dumped in the middle of a road.

Delivery people and dogs sometimes have a strained relationship, but a UPS driver put that aside and saved a puppy who had been dumped in the middle of a road, reports the Modesto Bee.
According to KPIX, on Tuesday, Jason Harcrow was on his route in Hughson, California when he saw a little terrier that had been thrown out of a car and abandoned.
Knowing the situation likely wouldn’t end well for the little one, he took it upon himself to make sure the dog was placed in the right hands.
He dropped the puppy off at the Hughson Police Substation, where it was picked up by Stanislaus County Animal Shelter.
If the owner doesn’t come forward, the canine, which has been declared healthy, will be put up for adoption.
