Chippie uses "special batter" to make 1kg fried sausage

A bizarre video has emerged of chippie claiming to use special batter called "Fri-agra" to increase the size of his battered sausages.

The footage, shot on Wednesday at 'Mister Eater Fish and Chips' shop in Preston, UK, shows owner John Clarkson preparing two battered sausages.

The first sausage, prepared with regular batter, comes out as one would expect.

The second sausage, prepared with "Fri-agra" batter, comes out as a 28 inches-long battered stick.

"It goes into the special batter as a regular 4oz sausage but comes out as a 1kg battered sausage that measures 28in" the filmer wrote online.
