A cool video has emerged of a huge basking shark swimming next to a kayaker off the coast of Cornwall, UK.

The footage, shot late last month, shows the shark feeding only a couple of metres away from a kayaker.

"I was lucky enough to be joined by this basking shark who showed interest in my orange Kayak! Experience of a lifetime for me" the filmer wrote online.
