David, from Montreal, received a squirrel statue as a birthday present. He decided to experiment with the gift, by seeing how real-life squirrels would react to their clay counterpart. He put a piece a bread on top of the fake squirrel, and placed it in the middle of the park. The furry creatures approached the statue tentatively, sniffing around it dubiously, probably thinking “why is this dude staying so still?!”Eventually one squirrel decided to bite the bullet, and snatched the bread from the statue.
