Adnan Oktar: We are the bright side of the Muslim world and an exemplary model for Muslims.

ADNAN OKTAR: What was the method of the Prophet Solomon (pbuh)? He invited his guests at the palace where there were trees, gold engravings, beautiful candlesticks, ornaments made of precious stones, spectacular artworks, as well as enormous and magnificent wood carvings. There was beautiful furniture covered with gold leaf, decorative pools, and enormous technological demonstrations, lavished with splendor. Why? He says, "Truly do I love the love of good things, with a view to the glory of my Lord." What he did was to serve for Islam. That splendor and splendidness indicate the power of Muslims, their understanding of art and aesthetics. It is a response to those who claim that there is no art and aesthetics in Islam, a response to those who state that Muslims cannot make heads or tails of music, beauty or kindness, a response to those who advocate that Muslims cannot be cultured, cultivated, knowledgeable, a response to those who claim that Muslim women are ugly and out of shape. There is a public opinion in regard to Muslims. For instance, in Europe, according to that public opinion, Muslims are considered to be scary and quarrelsome, to have yellow teeth, and to attack with bloodshot eyes. The behavior of the Prophet Solomon is a practice that radically eliminates this public opinion and shows that the Muslim world is an ideal community. If it were not for us, everyone would bristle with rage, and the massacre would be further worsened. We are the optimistic, nice, harmless, virtuous, eminent face of the Islamic world. We are the people who can be readily shown as a model by Muslims and with whom they can win any debate. When they refer to my books in a debate against those who are talking about Darwinism, they win the debate. When they take us as an example to those who claim that there is no music in Islam, the issue is resolved. For those who say that women cannot dress well, they take us as an example to disprove it. For those who say that Muslims cannot make heads or tails of art and aesthetics, they take us as an example to disprove. And, for those who say that Muslims cannot make heads or tails of kindness and quality, they take us as an example to disprove. Then, all of the issues are resolved. We are the bright side of the Muslim world. And, that bright side has been becoming more and more widespread. Otherwise, Muslims would have been destroyed, may God forbid. On one hand Darwinism, on the other hand these claims would have destroyed Muslims. We have devastated the system of the antichrist by means of our unifying manner and our rational attitude against the division. We have destroyed the ideology of the PKK and of Darwinism. We have razed all the ideas and claims posing a threat against the unity and integrity of Turkey.
