Mud-Soaked Wombat Shows Effects of Australian Storms

This poor wombat is showing the ill effects of the rough weather that battered Australia in early June 2016. The animal looks lucky to be still alive, and will no doubt benefit from the care and attention he will be given in the Sleepy Burrows Wombat Sanctuary in New South Wales, where he is being cared for.
