Growing up in Cicero, Kimberli Baker and her family enjoyed dinner at the Anvil Inn. She liked it so much in fact she and her husband James DuPont bought the restaurant 30 year later.
But the culinary couple has done more than just realize their dream of owning a restaurant; they saved the landmark bistro from becoming yet another casualty of corporate homogenization.
