In episode one of Wide is the New Beauty, Sean Villanueva O'Driscoll is getting to grips with some of the wide and off-width cracks in the little known Spanish climbing area of La Pedriza. The rock quality is incredible, and Sean soon finds himself fist-jamming his way up boulders, before tackling a Charles Cole classic 5.11d off-width, among other routes. It's not just crack climbing either, as Sean takes on a magnificent quality technical slab, not helped by the rain.
