A number of messages accompanied the denial and were soon posted to Twitter by Shani C. Taylor, a friend and Kellogg School of Management classmate of the would-be renter.
They read, in part, “I hate n****** so I’m gonna cancel you,” “This is the south darling,” and “Find another place to rest your n*****
