Maheshinte Prathikaaram (English: The Revenge of Mahesh) is a 2016 Indian Malayalam comedy drama film directed by Dileesh Pothan in his feature film debut produced by Aashiq Abu. The film stars Fahadh Faasil in the title role of Mahesh, while Anusree, Alancier Lay, Aparna Balamurali, and Soubin Shahir portray other pivotal roles.The film is based on a true event which happened in the life of Thampan Purushan, a native of Thuravoor, Cherthala in Alappuzha.The screenplay is written by Syam Pushkaran and the cinematography was handled by Shyju Khalid.

The film released on 5 February 2016 to positive reviews and was a commercial success with a ₹20 crore (US$3.0 million) collection at the box office worldwide.
