International Olympic Committee: 23 athletes from London games test positive

The International Olympic Committee announced biological samples from 23 athletes who competed at the London Games in 2012 had tested positive for using performance-enhancing drugs.
The announcement marks the second time this month that the IOC announced that a significant number of its competitors in a previous Games had tested positive.
Dozens of competitors in the Beijing Games, including some who were planning to compete in Rio, were among those who were caught.
The IOC has yet to announce the names of those who tested positive.
The Russia Olympic Committee announced earlier this week that 14 of its athletes from Beijing, including several medal winners, were among those who tested positive.
