Verizon, striking unions agree to tentative four year labor deal

Verizon and its striking unions struck a tentative four-year labor deal, bringing an end to a bitter, weeks-long strike.
The deal means Verizon employees may be back to work next week.
The Obama Administration got involved in the disagreement earlier this month, after Labor Secretary Thomas Perez met with Verizon officials and the two striking unions, the Communications Workers of America and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Perez then announced both sides would “return to the bargaining table.”
Details of the tentative deal were not yet released.
