Father attacked for bringing daughter into men's restroom

CLINTON CITY, UTAH — A father is nursing injuries he sustained after being unexpectedly battered and bruised during a bathroom attack at his local Walmart, reported NBC-affiliate KSL.
Christopher Adams' young daughter and son needed the toilet when they were in the Clinton store on Sunday.
Doing as most fathers would do and not wanting to leave his daughter alone, he took both into the men's restroom.
But while there, Adams came across a man who cursed and berated Adams for bringing his daughter into the men's bathroom.
Things escalated and the situation turned violent.
While trying to move his kids away from the guy, Adams reportedly turned to face him and got sucker punched.
From there the attacker reportedly beat Adams up, until the young father managed to slam him to the ground. He told KSL he held the man there until help arrived.
The unidentified attacker was cited on spot for disorderly conduct. Police told KSL-TV that a potential assault charge is being screened by the city attorney.
