Enola Gay: The United State's atomic bombing legacy

Barack Obama will be the first sitting American president to visit Hiroshima, where the United States dropped on 6 August 1945, an atomic bomb killing tens of thousands of Japanese people. Since 2003, the plane that carried out the mission has been on display at the Air and Space Museum.
